In windows 10 x64 fresh install with latest version of java version 8, Subsonic 5.3 will not list the music. Subsonic will scan and see that music is in the folder but no list, Please fix!

PSA to those using DSub (or any client which supports it) when using the Browse By Tags option: it will show as no data until a new scan is run. If you update and it looks like there is nothing there simply run a manual scan and refresh and it will fix nothing showing up.

Since upgrading to 5.3, trying to use either external player option will give me a playlist that only uses my local IP, not my external IP in the M3U. Great for streaming on the LAN, but not over the Internet
I looked through the options, didn't seem to find anything that had changed to produce this behavior. The web player works just fine. Anybody else experiencing this?
PS - loyal SS user for over 4 years now, thank you for all the hard work you do!

Any reason when I try to install in Ubuntu it warns me about the package being “Bad Quality”?

It's been that way forever. He just doesn't include some metadata in the package that Ubuntu wants. You can safely ignore the warning.

My upgrade went off without an hitch on windows and standalone linux. I use the standalone version for movies but there is not way to select or change cover art. This makes the interface look less than appealing. Can anyone confirm that this is correct for 5.3 with movies. Seems odd to not have a way to edit cover art. If there is something wrong then I would like to know so I can work to address the issue.
By the way, if this is correct....PLEASE BRING BACK THAT FEATURE!!!!

Before the update, maps with submaps and files wouldn'T show in the list directly, but underneath the list. Now they are not shown at all?

Whats the point of the custom URL? To my understanding and experience Subsonic as always supported this. I have had a record from my domain pointed to my subsonic install for years and never had a problem connecting the too.
I don't understand what this feature does that subsonic could not already do.

With this upgrade my album count inexplicably went from >4K to just over 3K. However, the number of artists and songs, as well as disk space and total hours remained consistent.
