Sorry for the long wait, but please be noted that 3.8.beta1 has finally been released.

The most exciting feature is the new Subsonic app for Android phones, but there is also a new simple chat feature, as well as quite a lot of bug fixes.

Thanks for the android version! It was really fast and easy to setup on my htc hero.
Just tried it works and plays music, need check it more closely tomorrow.

Is there a way to put a banner at the top of the chat section? Also, a way to clear the chat would be useful.

This is the most amazing program ever, I've been using it for a little under a year and am still blown away by how useful and stable it is.

just been playing about with the API and i seem to be getting this all the time.

Am i missing some thing?

The only issue I am experiencing is with transcoding. All my MP3 albums stream fine. WAV albums do not stream at all (just get stuck on buffering). FLAC albums sometimes get stuck on buffering, other times play 10-20 seconds of the song before skipping to the next one. All these same albums work flawlessly through the regular web interface.

Suggestions so far:
- search
- Configurable streaming bitrate settings for 2G/3G/Wifi
- Shuffle/Repeat of playlist

Yeah.. it is all working GREAT!.. Would like to see who is logged in tho. Other than that!!! Thanks for the chat feature!!

Unfortunately, I have to second the problem transcoding FLACs though. (as well as the problem that the player stops after every track when transcoding to WAV) Could you please fix these issues?

Please tell us the full url you're using when you get this error. What value do you use for protocol version, as per the "Introduction" in http://subsonic.sourceforge.net/api.php ?

Iv sorted that now thanks, it was me being a plonker.

Looks stable so far, I only have a 'search Discogs' button under change coverart, is this by design or is there something broken on my end?

That's intentional. I didn't have time to fix the Amazon search, so I disabled it.

I had a little problem: when playing a playlist the player plays 1 song in the playlist ( normally the first ) and after that stop.

I did a try manually, playing different songs in the playlist and after playing the currently selected song the player stop, always.

It is normal ?.
