I usually create a random playlist 50 songs at a time. Since upgrading to 4.0, when I click the title to play some songs (I have mostly mp3s) the web player will show a short bit of progress on the progress bar (which then freezes at a random point) and the song will then play to that freeze point.

Other songs wont start playing at all and there is no progress visible on the bar on the player.

Still other songs seem to play just fine.

I haven't changed anything about my music, network settings or file locations. I've used Subsonic for a long time and never had this problem until the 4.0 upgrade.

I'm presently using Chrome, which at the moment is v.4.1.249.1064 (45376)

Any ideas on what I can try to fix this issue before going back to v.3.9!

(One additional detail,... I tried re-installing the transcoding pack but it did not help.)

I thought I was posting this in the "Subsonic 4.0.beta1 released" post, sorry!

If possible, try playing from a different computer. Then we know if the problem is on the server or with the browser.

Also, is there anything in common with the files that doesn't play? Are they also mp3?
