Nice one! Seems to be functioning well. I have one thing that i have noticed for now and that is that the now playing link along the top doesn't seem to be working for me. Is this the same for anyone else?
EDIT: Seems to be working now. Maybe it was doing some indexing that was screwing things up.

Nice for me too!
Works like a charm. The Google Album Cover Lookup work very good.
The only trouble I´m having now is the frame top left. When I dropbox "All Folders" - the total amount is very wrong.
It drops from:
1 640 artister
1 521 album
21 461 melodier
129,54 GB (~ 2 012 timmar)
into:
81 artister
21 album
363 melodier
1,65 GB (~ 25 timmar).
All my other choices in this dropbox shows the first numbers.

*Bad:
I find the new Version of Search engine is not good.
I Test it with an Interpret with the the most Albums on my Harddrives.
(The Albums are all ID3-tagged!!!)
The Interpret have normal over 50 Albums and 1183 Songs. The More Button is meaningless when i not see really more search results.
Subsonic find only: 10 Albums and 5 Songs. wth?
And i miss the Search for Albums, Interprets, and titels.
Sorry, but back to old Version.

Good:
The New Google Cover Search Function. Works a little bit better.

I really like the new cover art search.
The new search needs some getting used to, not sure yet if I like it better than the old one.

Agree about the Lucene search. Doesn't seem to search for artists by default, though it will automatically search through albums and songs. Only way I could get it to search for artists was to prepend the string "artist:" to a search.
Google Image Search is excellent.

I'm just trying this out running on Tomcat 6 x64, Win7 x64 Ultimate.
I have two problems.
1) I get a Java exception when trying to transcode from mp3 to ogg via ffmpeg and oggenc2...
**Edit
My bad, I had a subfolder named 'ffmpeg' in my transcode folder so it was trying to execute the folder, doh.
2) None of the tokens %s, %t, %a, %l are being replaced in step 2 of the transcoding process. The command line being passed to oggenc2 has just -t %t, -a %a, etc.

Well for whatever reason, problem #1 was solved by using ffmpeg.exe in the command. I don't know why. On another note, ffmpeg is failing to decode the mp3 file... annoying but not Subsonic's problem. Problem #2 still remains.

the default search should use the tag info for artist search instead of checking the top-level directory structure like its currently doing "artists:*"
I think the advanced search page needs to be brought back where we can select values for the different fields, it'd be nice if the android app had a page similar to this too
We also need a way to get all results again, when you select more, you get more results but not all of them, and you can only press it once

I really like the new cover search function (Google) , but i didnt find any way of "auto search" the covers, is there a way to do that on this new version?

Did the new Beta lose the display albums with no cover art? I like the new google image search but it would be easier to be able to loacate all the albums that are missing cover art like in the previous version.
