I found a strange bug, it existed in v1.8.1 as well. I added the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts I-IV albums (2 discs) to my library this week. The tracks are named as such:
(disc 1)
1 Ghosts I-II
2 Ghosts I-II
...
(disc 2)
18 Ghosts III-IV
19 Ghosts III-IV
They are FLAC files and the metadata is stored as FLAC tags. In the Subsonic Android player the tracks starting with the numbers 10-19 are having the leading number and space stripped. So the titles show up like this:
8 Ghosts I-II
9 Ghosts I-II
Ghosts I-II -> this is track 10
Ghosts I-II -> this is track 11
...
Ghosts III-IV -> this is track 19
20 Ghosts III-IV
21 Ghosts III-IV
Weird...

I don't know if this is an old problem, but I was playing around with the subsonic app on my girlfriends android and noticed that I wasn't able to download songs to the phone. I did a quick search to see if anyone else had reported this, but I couldn't find anything, so here goes.
This problem was encountered when I was trying to save some songs on the phone to reduce the use of the mobile broadband. I would select all songs of an album, choosing "Save on phone", and it would tell me "10 [or whatever] songs scheduled for download". Then nothing seems to happen. The files are not saved on the phone, I can see no indication that they are downloaded from the server... All in all, it looks like nothing is happening.
I tried on the phone of a friend, who is also streaming music from me, but I got the same result. Do the download function actually work? Do I have to start it in any way?
Otherwise, this service works great. Thanks! =)

I'm still getting the 1st track repeat (on my HTC Droid Incredible) as well. Other than that, great app. I donated & got a license!

@ Sindre, I guess this means android version 1.8.3 is ready and out there? Anyway, thanks for the fast reply and for this great system. I'll buy you a beer if I ever meet you in Oslo. =)

Uh what, how do I get ssl going on my subsonic server? I totally missed this part of a release log or something.
Awesome though, Love you, Sindre!

@Sindre: Downloaded 1.8.3 and tested on two separate android phones. Still no luck. Another problem is cacheing. If you set cache to say 1 gig, and there's onlo 800 mb space left on the memory card, subsonic will fill all available space. However, it doesn't automatically clear cache to make room for new music you want to play, so it stops working. Hope you understood what I meant.
However, regarding the save on phone-issue, does this feature require subsonic 4.2 beta to be installed on the server? Because I've been waiting for a stable release before I upgrade.

I can cosign the storage bug, I thought something was wrong with the app until i checked storage space and saw my card was full. Either an error message or automatically clearing the cache should be implemented
I'm also still having an issue with stuttering in playback with songs that have already been completely cached, it doesn't happen all the time I'll try to provide more debug information on how to reproduce

Thank you so much for this update! Can finally connect to my server via android - beautiful application.
Will donate again!
Is there any chance for implementing jukebox-control anytime soon?
Thanks!
