iSub 3.0 Change Log:
(in no particular order)

- Massive internal re-write for stability and to make it 1000x easier to add new features and fix future bugs (the least visible change that took the most time and has the most impact on the future of iSub)
- Feature walk-through video that can be watched in the Help tab in settings or by pressing the Watch Intro Video button on the intro screen on new app installs
- Full native iPad screen support with custom interface
- New Home tab that will be expanded in the future
- Jukebox control -- enable from the Home tab and control your Subsonic server instead of streaming the songs to your phone
- Server searching for artists, albums, and songs from the Home tab without scanning anything in iSub
- Quick server shuffle -- easily create a 100 song random playlist from the Home tab without scanning anything in iSub
- View recent added, frequently played, recently played, and random album lists from the Home tab
- Easier adding of Ubuntu One servers (don't need to know the URL)
- Significantly tidied up the user interface, and now have a new app icon and logo
- Now pull to reload folders, replace the Reload button with a Shuffle button -- every folder now has Play All and Shuffle buttons at the top to quickly play or shuffle entire folders
- Added option to disable lyrics screen in the player overlay
- Added a quick-nav side letter index to the Cache tab
- Added a quick-nav side letter index to all large sub-folders
- Changed the network library used to load folders, should decrease load time and stop stalled loads
- Added a tap to cancel load when loading folders so you never get stuck in the case of network issues
- The current song's cache status is now shown behind the song progress bar in the player overlay
- Disabled the Albums/Songs/Genres tabs by default (re-enable them in the settings) -- until Subsonic has proper support for displaying the content of those tabs they have been disabled by default and are no longer recommended to be used. I'm working on adding the required support into Subsonic but I can't give an ETA. Adding video support is my #1 priority right now.
- Tons of bug fixes and probably a bunch of little things I forgot about along the way

The update looks great. Takes a little getting used to, but it looks great!

Seems to have fixed the now playing showing on subsonic web access when you ar playing in your isub cache.

Keeps gettin better and better every time! Very thankful for all the work and time you put into it. Best $5 I ever spent, and I tell everyone I know with a idevice to get it.

This app is awesome! Thank you a ton for your hard work on it. If I can I'd like to request a feature...

I noticed that on the android app sindre was able to get the "folders" to be selectable, then you can view what's only in those folders.

I have a bunch of movies and old tv shows in my subsonic, so it would nice to be able to sort through my folders and just see my music instead of everything that's on my server all at once.

This may not be the place to post this and it may not even be a problem with iSub

With previous versions of iSub, when you would double click the Home Button in iOS and scroll left to get to the player controls from anywhere, iSub used to show up as the player and its controls were there. Now when I go to this area, I only find the iPod player and its functions.

This is sort of a hard scenario to explain so please let me know if you need clarification.

as far as i can tell it's running much smoother than the previous one.
I am just having trouble with the overlays, when you tap on the now playing album.
now when i tap, the overlay with the progress bar comes up just fine, but when i want to switch to the playlist, or the lyrics overlay, it won't stop there but keeps moving in between the different overlays. that way I can't manage to scroll through the playlist or lyrics. it is odd, it used to stick to the following overlay, but now it just keeps moving in between them.
would be nice if you could fix this.

p.s.
love the jukebox mode, but it lags very much on my device: ipod touch 2g

Heh, guess there's no pleasing everybody. I personally like the design and I think it looks a lot better than the last version which was a bit rough around the edges. I hope it won't keep you from using the app though! If you'd like to give me some more specifics on what bothers you about it, I wouldn't mind hearing about it in a PM or an email to support@isubapp.com. Though I can't guarantee any changes.

About 6500 sales so far total since release, and about 4000 people updated to 3.0 in the last two weeks so it's nice to know most people that bought it are still using it (also many more people will update slowly in the coming months, I still had 2.2.3 updates coming in the day 3.0 was released). Had a pretty big dip in sales in Nov and in Dec before Xmas, but there was a nice Xmas boost and then since 3.0 sales have been pretty good. Looking forward to continuing to add features and polish to hopefully keep selling iSub copies for years to come

This was planned for 3.0 but unfortunately didn't make the cut due to time. Expect this in a 3.0.x release.

Can you email me at support@isubapp.com with some more clarification on this? Manually cached songs will show up in the Now Playing screen, also the auto pre-caching of the next song will show up as well. Unfortunately nothing I can do about that, though I think Sindre's working on something to fix that on the Subsonic side.

I just verified on two of my devices that the multitasking tray controls are working. Keep in mind though, the iSub logo will only show up once you select a song and start playing. If you just opened iSub, you will still see the iPod logo there.

Can you please send me an email at support@isubapp.com so we can figure this out. It doesn't do that on any of my test devices and you're the first person to mention the issue. Also, is the jukebox mode itself lagging or the app overall?
