Lovely! Its alway fun to explore a new version with new functions!

I found a bug:

Under settings i get this:
Settings
Music folders | General | ???settingsheader.appearance??? | Users | Players | Transcoding | Internet TV/radio | Podcast | Search

I guess the ???settingsheader.appearance??? is not normal

(You can check for yourself ;)

Love the new style, but I noticed a couple of things:

1) There is no shadow around cover art when accessed via Internet Explorer, this only works in Firefox...

2) In Internet Explorer when I download songs or albums that have spaces in them it replaces the spaces with underscores.

Thanks!
Matthew.

Hi Sindre,

Just a quick comment about the new beta:

Having the index at the top of the left bar causes a problem if you've got a large collection of music; as soon as you've navigated to a particular letter you lose index and have to scroll all the way back up the menu. The links would be better placed somewhere so that they're always accessible. Possibly in a single row underneath the icons on the top frame?

Hi Carl,

To jump back to the index you can click the index headers (A, B, C etc). Does this solve your problem?

I am getting this exact same thing, any info on a fix? Or something I have to do locally? Running it on Tomcat 5.5

Yes it does :)

I'd not noticed that before.

Cheers Sindre,

Sounds like the upgrade was not complete. This happens sometimes with Tomcat, I don't know why. Please take a look at http://subsonic.sourceforge.net/install.html (point 6 about deleting <TOMCAT_HOME>/work)

Hope this helps,

I upgraded to the new beta, it works flawlessly. No bugs to report so far. I posted about my experience with the new Play on Phone option and the playlist enhancement in this thread:

http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=975

I wonder if you could create a new non-hd theme based on the two new hd themes? It looks great.

Do you mean a new theme with colors and background image from the HD themes, but with font style and font size from the old themes?

Exactly. The fonts are a little bigger with the HD themes but the everything else looks amazing.

Good. Look for a new theme called "Barents Sea" in the next version.
