Encoding for Asian languages??

Postby boxtata » Fri Jul 23, 2010 6:41 am

Just donated to subsonic.. and using the android subsonic app.. which is great for the new shuffle play function..

however, one thing i haven't solved back in free trial.. is display of chinese characters.. some songs display right, but some do not. most likely due to Android only display unicode right

however.. i was trying homepipe.. and it displays EVERYTHING correctly.. it may have built in encoding support??? not sure

if subsonic can have it, it would be perfect!!!

even if not.. can someone tell me what unicode id tag subsonic uses mainly??? unicode LE? BE? 2.3? 2.4??

any easy way to recursively convert all my songs in a folder (and sub folder) to unicode in v2 tag?

thanks
