How does the jukebox setting work? are there any demos or screenshots of it?

Juke box mode is a feature that frequently needs explanation. It's not too complicated. You connect to Subsonic via your browser. Most often, you are on a cumputer other than the one that is hosting Subsonic. Occasionally, someone would like to have the music they want to hear be played on the host server rather than at the computer they are using to browse the music. When you select Jukebox mode, that's what happens. You can browse and select playlists, etc. from any computer, but the output will be on the server that hosts Subsonic.

so does jukebox mode effectively prevent the computer you're playing the music on from downloading the music? And make it so its live streaming?

what are the advantages of jukebox mode?

I rarely use Jukebox mode. It is primarily for controlling music play at a remote location. One use I could see would be if you have your server in a large family room and have a nice set of speakers attached to it. You could then use a smaller tablet PC to control the output. Other users would still be able to access the site as per usual.

I don't use it because i don't have speakers attached to my server.
