Access Wirelessly Within Your Network

Postby drumloud » Wed Aug 24, 2011 8:13 pm

I have no problem accessing my Subsonic server from outside my network: http://drumloud.subsonic.org

However,

When I try to access from another room in my house over my wireless network I can't reach the server.

Any suggestions on how to allow this?

Thanks,
B

Please read HOW TO ASK FOR HELP
and if you require help post in the help category.
Without further info we can only give very general guidance.

Have you tried your local IP:portnumber ?
eg something like "http://192.168.0.xx:yyyy/subsonic"
where xx is your server local ip and yyyy is the port you selected in SS and /subsonic if you selected that option in install
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

Assuming all computers are on the same subnet, it's most likely a firewall setting.
