subsonic and ICS

i've recently loaded my phone with ice cream sandwich (android 4.0.1), and subsonic apparently has some trouble playing nice with it. everything works, except while actively streaming and playing. any interaction with the phone will cause audio to skip. from what i've gathered, it's related to hardware acceleration, and only when the player is actively streaming.

the other possibility is that the beta nature of the ROM isn't mature enough yet, but that's something i can't verify, except with a galaxy nexus phone. anyone have a galaxy nexus and can chime in?
