Attention: Donating does not guarantee that your wishes will come true. Donating is contributing to what has been done already, without expecting something in return.

Subsonic is not dead! It takes a lot of time and effort to introduce new features, and Sindre has other things he has to take care of. Subsonic is not his full-time job (as far as I'm aware) and some of the new features he is introducing require a lot of work and restructuring.

Donating should demonstrate your appreciation of his work, not your expectations for the future.
