ffmpeg 10.2

Postby Robandcathy » Sat May 05, 2012 7:36 pm

Recently had added a few more users, and seemed like trans coding is suffering while I think my processor is fast enough, so I did some digging and since I know ffmpeg does trans coding on the fly I decided to check my version since I had to reinstall subsonic and it from 2011 which if I remember correctly ffmpeg was at a stand still for a long time, but checking there website seems they have been very busy in 2012 latest build is 10.2, so after searching the internet for a exe file as thats what subsonic uses I hit a wall. Does anyone know where I could get the exe file or how to setup the file format they have within subsonic?
Thanks in advance.

According to http://ffmpeg.org/download.html, you can download windows binaries from http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/

thats great lol but how do I get subsonic and binary files to work together, as I said right now its in a old exe format, that subsonic calls on when needed. I use windows home server 2011 (aka known as SBS 2008) I would be happy to use binaries if I knew how to implement them.

You just download a static build which is one exe file.

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
