Windows & Subsonic: Podcasts with pipes & other chars

Hey guys -

I'm currently running Subsonic 4.6 on a Windows 7 machine. Right now, the podcast feature appears to be broken when downloading podcasts that have special characters in them - like | (pipe). I've seen some really old threads about this problem, with the 3.x version of Subsonic.

Is the source code available somewhere so it can be fixed? Is this problem something that is addressed in 4.7 beta?I'd really like my Subsonic server to be able to download these podcasts, since the author doesn't want to change the title (nobody else is having this problem, unfortunately).

Any help would be appreciated!
