Video Buffering lagging

Postby brian.stivala » Tue Jan 29, 2013 7:06 pm

Hi All,

I have installed Subsonic latest version on centos box. Everything is working fine, music streams perfect however when I try to play a simple MP4 movie the video stop/loads approx every 4 seconds. For time being the subsonic is installed on centos and video streaming is done locally, after I have resolved this issue I will stream videos from outside source.

Can some help me regarding this issue, are there any setting to do in subsonic in order to play videos without lagging.

If you require information from my side please let me know.

Thanks

Regards,
Brian

Are you trying to transcode the mp4's?
If so try turning off the transcode (remove that suffix/file type from the transcode string)
No guarantee that will work though as it depends on the codecs used.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.
