Thanks alpha! I tried to flush the DNS and I tried messing with the DNS settings. No luck. I also tried updating the order of the adapters per http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1445677 . No luck.

It looks like net.sourceforge.subsonic.util.Util.getLocalIpAddress() just finds the first non-loop back address. I figure that should work most of the time... but, I reckon their is a reason why servers like mysql often have configuration to specify a specific ip address. Maybe because it is impossible to detect the correct IP all of the time? Maybe this should be a configuration item?

What's the process of suggesting a feature/defect like this?

You could file a bug report for the version you're using, but Sindre will only likely fix the latest, plus I'm unsure this is a Subsonic issue. Worth a try, however! Also, it may be worth disabling your ethernet port, rebooting, ensure it''s still dasabled and see what SS does after that. If it looks like the IP has transferred correctly, re-enable the ethernet port, and ensure all works correctly, then reboot and see if it all stuck.
