Album Art Issue

I am running 4.9 on a Vortexbox (version 2.3 upgrade). When I upgraded the vortexbox, I had to reload all my music. I pointed Subsonic to the same directory where music is stored and all the files were found. However, on the home page, not all the albums show the cover art. however, when I click on an album and am brought to the album page, the art is shown there. I have tried rescanning the files, but no change. Is there any reason why the album art is seen on the album page but not home page of Subsonic? thanks
