Sorry, I know this has been discussed, but I couldn't figure out the net net.

Can DSub be moved and/or have music files on the external SD card on Lollipop?

Yes you should be able to if you keep everything the same except for changing the root point (ie something like internal -> ext_sdcard. I really just need to change it on KitKat+ to just give a few options on what path to use since you can't really free form it anymore due to system limitations.
