Lossless streaming without transcode

is there a way to play flac files or the likes without the transcoding? without using a third party interface...a setting perhaps via the transcode settings players?

If you delete the transcode settings the flac file will be streamed directly, but your browser/app should be able to reproduce flac file in order to listen the flac

I tried that before posting. If I delete the settings, the file (flac) won't play.
Are there instructions somewhere? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
