Database issues

Postby nimnul » Wed Feb 15, 2017 8:39 am

I have recently redone my setup upgrading my router. Subsonic is running on my main computer. I have two libraries, Audiobooks which runs on the same PC, and Musik, which is pointed to a nas with +5000 albums.
After this upgrade Subsonic scans all audio books without any issues. But on the nas it only scans the very first album (10cc), and two albums that where listed as now playing on 2 accounts.
The rest of the albums are ignored. I can navigate to the nas without issues, the nas has the same ip address as previously.

Any clues

I suggest you disable in Subsonic the mediafolders on your Nas.
Next start a folderscan and when that's finished perform a database cleanup.
Then enable the mediafolders again and start another folderscan. ( Don't turn fast acces on.)
Hopefully that will restore all your mediafolders.
Yes, it's true that subsonic's database is very prone to corruption and I wouldn't be surprised if this issue actually has nothing to do with your router upgrade.
