Roku App

On the Roku App, when you play the first song in an album, it no longer automatically advances to the next song.

In addition, you can't create a playlist with more than the first song in the list, (it just propagates the first song over and over), and there is no
mechanism to delete a playlist from the Roku App.

nwayno@Willy:~/$ dpkg -l | grep subsonic
ii subsonic 6.0 all A web-based music streamer, jukebox and Podcast receiver

nwayno@Willy:~$ uname -a
Linux Willy 4.4.0-72-generic #93-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 31 14:07:41 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

These problems only surfaced after updating to server version 6. (Is the previous version (5.3?) available?)

This renders the programme unusable as is.

Full loss of processing (FLOP). I downloaded version 5.3 deb from sourceforge. Please fix.

The 2 known Roku apps aren't managed by the maintainer of Subsonic itself. They were independently developed and supported.

it doesn't look like the Roku apps are being actively maintained. Neither seems to have had any updates since 2015.

Sorry, can't help beyond that. :?

Yes, the Roku apps are horrendous, pretty much unusable for any music listen scenario I can imagine.
If I find enough time, I might work on developing one myself, but I coding skills are a bit rusty.
Perhaps a post on the Roku forums can encourage a developer to take on the project?
