Enabling DEBUG mode in logs / missing tracks

Hi - I have a folder of MP3s which displays the album and genre and band info, but no tracks. Not sure if anyone has run into this before. Even if I delete the entire directory from the media folders and re-add it, same thing. Nothing in the logs about it, but maybe if I enabled debug mode I could find something? How does one do that?
