Subsonic unstable, tried Plex, but...

I have tried all the recent 6.0x versions of Subsonic on my Nuc i7 computer with 16 GB of RAM all versions are unstable.

The instability was manifest by Subsonic just not loading at all, despite it appearing to be active in the system tray. I took that as a crash. It could only be resolved by a reboot, and the "crash" happened frequently with almost any use.

I'm running a minimum of other software on that dedicated server computer connected to 12 TB of external storage. The OS is Win10 64 bits.

So, FYI, I tried Plex, but Plex took 3 days to index my music (371k files mainly in FLAC).

So I moved to Madsonic, and so far, to my surprise since it's a branch of Subsonic, it's been fast and stable.

I gave Subsonic a shot for several months but just wanted some stability.

I'll be checking back to see if anyone has any thoughts on how I could stabilize Subsonic and revert back to it. I have paid for a lifetime subscription/membership so I'd like to use it.
