Hi,
I'm a registered lifetime user... I bought my license back in 2011. It's hard for me to complain about the money, given the decade that I enjoyed it; but it became too problematic and I abandoned it a couple of years ago.
I'd really like to get back into it, but looking through the forums, it appears that some problems (like a dependence on vulnerable versions of Java) will never be fixed.
ArchLinux declared it to be a "dead" product, and it appears so.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Subsonic
Subsonic was a music server that let you store your music on one machine and play it from other machines, cell phones, via a web interface, or various other applications. It is no longer maintained. However, a maintained fork (airsonicAUR) exists.
Is there any reason to hope for an update? The only activity that I can find related to Sindre, anywhere, is a recommendation on LinkedIn which seems to indicate that he was working in 2022.
Thanks!
