Hi.

I am a subsonic user but have hit issues now that android 4.1 and higher doesn't support flash.

Is there anything planned that will allow subsonic to work on android devices as currently I am unable to stream any films at all.

Nope, I don't think Sindre normally publishes any time plans like that. But it's available for all app developers to use in 4.7 beta3: http://subsonic.org/pages/changelog.jsp

You can use dolphin and flash on jellybean...it's just not officially supported.

I know, but I don't want to.

This was more a questions of will SubSonic be moving away from flash as it is getting slowly removed from everything.

That's great. What do I have to do on my android device to make hls streaming work?
