What happened to "Add all" and "Play all"?

Postby ambassador » Sun Sep 16, 2012 6:08 pm

I have been using SS 4.6 for several months and at some point, the "Add all" and "Play all" links disappeared for non-admin users. I liked these options for quickly playing albums. I did not change user permissions and have tried a few basic troubleshooting measures, such as clearing browser cache and deleting SS players for the user. Nothing seems to work. Just upgraded to SS 4.7 and still have the problem. Any help much appreciated!

Have you tried creating a new user and see if those links come back?
Those links should be shown for users unless they do not have "allowed to play files" privilege

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, Image but some abuse the privilege!

Due to the confusion from too many genres of music, we have decided to put both country music and rap music into the genre of Crap music.

Thanks for the tip. I created a new user who has the "Up | Play all | Play random | Add all | Download" links when viewing an album. The old users (with the same permissions) still don't. It's not a big deal to delete and re-create the users, but this seems like a bug.

Is it possible that those users somehow got set to "Party Mode" ?

Go to Settings/Personal and check to see if "Party Mode" is set.
