Subsonic Forum

Hello!

Is it possible to play music on the server? This is maybe a stupid question but I haven't tried subsonic yet, so I really don't know how it's working and I haven't found the answer on the forum either.

I'm planning to setup a computer running subsonic, the computer will be connected to my speakers and I want to use it as a mediaserver to play musik on the speakers. Is this possible or is it only possible to stream music from the subsonic server to other devices?

It is possible and called "Jukebox" in the Player settings. You can set a up a server and use an app (Android/iPhone) as remote control.
