The connection has timed out

The last week I started to receive "The connection has timed out" when I try to use SS outside my LAN.
Some things SS 4.7 Ubuntu 11.10. It was working fine till last week.
The weird behavior that I see is, the tracert xxxx.subsonic.org of my server ends like this:
15 181 ms 180 ms 180 ms 66.49.255.5
16 186 ms 187 ms 187 ms subsonic.canaca.com [66.49.215.227]
Trace Complete.
But I cannot reach my server, looks to me that is missing the link with my machine...
Any idea?
