Better Enhanced security

I am using subsonic and would like to know if the security can be enhanced based on groups, media content rating etc.

I also would like to know exactly which permissions the user running subsonic (in my case is subsonic_user, since I've changed the original root user) needs to the media files. Does any other users need access to the media files?
