My address already in use after update to 4.8

I just updated to 4.8. Everything seems to be working except I can't get my old "easy-to-remember" address to work. On the network tab in settings I get this message. The web address "XXXXXXX" is already in use. Please select another. If I enter a new address, "XXXXXXX2" for example, everything seems to work fine but I would like to be able to use my old address. I've been using it for years. I've never had this problem with updating subsonic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you attempting to reregister the site using the same email address?
The site name should be associated with the registration email address. I've reregistered my Subsonic sites on different platforms multiple times without any problems.

Thank you. I was able to resolve the problem by checking that registered address. It was incorrect. I put the correct address and key back in and voila!
