Subsonic on Pogoplug E02

Hi all,

I installed subsonic on my Pogoplug E02 (arm computer) from the subsonic downloads for linux/ubuntu and followed the installation instructions. It operates but so slowly to be impractical. For example, It is scanning my Mp3 music files and after an hour and half i has scanned only 16 files. I then searched google and found in various forums that it is better to use sun-java rather than the open-java that is in the installation instructions. I really am not a linux user. I am very good at following step-by-step instructions. I was wondering if someone could help me to:
a) remove the open java and b) install the sun-java. Plus any other pointers to get it going. I am using the mp3 files for example in order to avoid transcoding on the fly since apparently the pogoplug is not powerful enough to do the transcoding.
