internet streaming tv/radio

Is there any way to get internet tv/radio to play within the subsonic player/page? So far the internet radio I'm trying to use just downloads the pls to my local system, not playing it. Am I doing it wrong?

I have that problem if I use Chrome but Firefox & IE 11 opens & plays the local player.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_oneHowever finding the right type of streams that SS can understand can be a bit of a nightmare.
From memory I think you need to find streams with an asx extension
e.g.
http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1.asx
