custom song query to subsonic

hello guys,
im building a custom music site and would like to use subsonic a media server.
according this issue I would like to build and storage my playlists and other parameters in my own db.
now, as playlist plays I would like to ask subsonic server to stream my app a unique song - and not by browsing at subsonic server and search for song.
I would like to access subsonic and request for songid by filename.
if I could access subsonic db I would perform an sql query like - "select songid from songs where path='/mymediafolder/songfilename.mp3'
after I get the songid, I can use subsonic api to stream this song.
please advise, how can I do something like that with subsonic?
I found out db.view on subsonic server can submit an sql query and get a table results, but I cant find a way to combine it in my code.
