I stumbled onto subsonic after seeing the link on MediaMonkey's site, too.

If you read the description on their website, it actually states that subsonic is not an addon for MediaMonkey (even though it's listed on the "Addon" page)

"Subsonic isn't a MediaMonkey plug-in at all, but it can augment MediaMonkey by giving you remote access to your files via a web browser. See the author's site for installation instructions."

If you're interested in streaming your audio library that you have in MediaMonkey to other PC's in your home or elsewhere via the internet, Subsonic will do the trick. But it doesn't interact with MediaMonkey at all.
