Hi,
I updated to Subsonic 5.0 this morning.
Now I'm getting a ConnectTimeoutException error. Status for my custom subsonic.org url is saying: "____ is registered, but could not connect to it".
Any suggestions on what to try?
Thank you!

Me neither but I don't think it's a 5.0 issue. I think there's a problem with subsonic's redirection server...

It wasn't working for me either, but I found the custom URL was forwarding to my IP, the IP was just not loading subsonic. Not sure it'll help you, but I found my fix.
If you're on Windows 7, try this:
For some reason when Subsonic installs it opens the public firewall for itself but not private (home).
Open control panel -> system and security -> allow a program through windows firewall
Scroll down and check "Home/Work (Private)" on all three subsonic items.
Hit ok and test it out again.

Wow, thanks for this. It fixed the issue on my end. It's amazing how poorly documented Subsonic is for a paid product.
