External player skipping
Posted: Sun Nov 09, 2014 3:50 amWhenever I use the external player, playlist and without it. it will skip a song randomly while its playing. I play it through winamp.
If i use the feature where i have the playlist inside of winamp, where u can choose what song to play out of the playlist in winamp, it usually skips in under 30 seconds. if i do it where its just a single file that plays the songs in order of the playlist, it will play through most of the song and then randomly skip. for now i am using the browser player because the issue makes listening to music impossible, but i really would like to use the external player so i can use my media keys on my keyboard. any help with this issue would be appreciated.
I just noticed i put this in General instead of Help, if it needs to be moved. please move it.

I tested this using firefox instead of chrome, same issue. i alsot tried foobar2000, same issue. then i figured why the hell not, and tried windows media player, and it played a 12 minute song absolutely fine, and has played everything fine. so this seems to be an issue with winamp and foobar, am i maybe missing a plugin or something? if anyone has an idea, let me know. ill be using windows media player til then.
