Hello!

I want only to use Subsonic as an audio streamer. I already use Plex for video streaming.

Is it possible to disable video files indexing and only see audio files?

I haven't tried this myself, but my first suggestion would be to go to the settings page and click on the 'General' tab. On that page you will see the lists of music, video and art formats that Subsonic looks for when building your library. Try deleting all the video formats. That should ensure that your library contains only audio. (You would need to rebuild your library to see the effect. The most reliable way I know of doing this is choose the 'Media Folders' setting tab. Uncheck the boxes for your library location(s). Click Save. Then click 'Scan Media Folders Now'. Re-check your folder location box, save, and rescan.) The 'Clean Up Database' option might also help with this, but I have limited success with that.

Hope that helps in some way.

If you have all of your media in the same folder you probably have to do what idealog suggested.

If you have music in it's own folder you can just specify which folder you have "enabled" on the settings page.

Just un-check the enabled box for your video folder if this is the case.
