Please tell me if this will work for a website

Guys I am new to programming and music streaming so I will be very thankful if you could advise me here.

My wish is to create a website for a few of my local musician friends to showcase their music.

The website will have a list of say 200 songs and anybody with a browser and a internet connection should be able to listen to any song from this list or create a playlist and listen to selected songs.
On the higher side I can think of maybe 20 people connected to the site to listen to the songs.

Is Subsonic useful for this scenario or can you point me in the right direction how I should go ahead building this type of music service
