Subsonic Forum

So I installed on a new server and I am getting a
HTTP ERROR: 503
SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE

When I try to view in a browser, either from an external computer, or from the server istelf, which rules out a firewall issue.
Anyone know what the deal is?

503 is a database issue. There are plenty of threads on this already, but basically it means you need to back up the db directory and then rename the folder, then restart the subsonic service and allow it to be recreated. But this will lose your user list (which may be able to be copied back from your backup).

Detailed instructions depend on what OS you are running (Windows or Linux (or Mac)).

Yeah I found another thread on it and fixed it. I have been running subsonic for years, and I must says that every issue I have had is database related.
