I would buy SubSonic. I really need a media streamer that can connect to AD via LDAP and so far this is the only one that does it. Unfortunately it fell short when I found out you can't set default user permissions. PLEASE, if anyone knows how to work around this let me know.

+1 for this. In order to add bulk user permission to allow downloads we have to manually run a few script lines in the .db file every so often.
