Subsonic doesn't restart anymore

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using Subsonic 5.2.1 in Raspbian 7.
I have 10 users, 1,570 artists, 3,615 albums, 44,246 songs, 265.94 GB.

Whenever subsonic restarts, it doesn't start again. The subsonic.log file just says:
Code: Select all
[2015-04-22 18:39:55,673] INFO DaoHelper - Checking database schema.

And it stays like that forever.
The Subsonic Java process is running, but no more messages are shown in the log file.

The only solution I could find was to remove the db directory. Then Subsonic recreated the Database during startup successfully and Subsonic was up again.
Nevertheless, after configuring my users and scanning the Music directory, the same issue happens again. Subsonic never starts after restarting, and the only message in the log is that one.

It began to happen in Subsonic 5.2, and it's still happening with 5.2.1. I lost my Subsonic everytime it's stopped!!
Do you know what could be happening?

Thank you very much.

Hi... I'm also have such problem when mi RPI suddenly shutdown (power blackouts). Subsonic service restart after 40~60 min, but always restart. Have you ever wait that much?. However, normal restarting takes about 5 minutes

Hi mitrailer,

Now it started after being about 60 min in that situation :O
Do you think this could have something to do with Raspbian? It didn't happen in previous releases of Subsonic.

In 5.2.1 I've noticed it's really unstable. The process dies and when trying to restart I get "Subsonic is Disabled". This is running on a 469 QNAP though. Only way to fix is to restart the NAS. NEVER had this problem before 5.2.1.
