Hi all:

Have subsonic server setup can connect access libraries play music - all good. What i am wondering is if it is possible to have more then one device connect to the server in jukebox mode and each device able to add songs to a single queue or playlist.

I have tried to get this going and does not seem to work so perhaps not, just though i would check to be sure. Atthe momentboth devices can add to a playlist for example, but which ever device starts the playlist is the only songs that will get played so other songs added by other device will showup but will not play.

I am sure i have done this on asonos setup sothought it would be workable on subsonic setup as well butcan not make it happen. Just want to knowif it is possible or not and if it iswhat am i missing.

Cheers

I had this working a few years ago when I was using a networked Roku Soundbridge as a player. In the player configuration, it was set up as a player with playlist, rather than a jukebox. I was able to add or remove tracks from the now-playing list from multiple computers on my network. Each user could see the current list. Eventually, the Soundbridge developed hardware problems and I changed to some different hardware, which did require me to use the jukebox option.

If you have any way to use your player as regular player rather than a jukebox, it might work.
