Wrong cover

Hey,

my audiobooks have front and backcover embedded via ID3 tag and as file in the same folder as the mp3. Subsonic seems to choose randomly which cover it shows in the web view. Most of the episodes have the normal cover but some show only the back cover. Since the only way to change covers is to download new ones and save them on the file system (which is absolutely NOT an option to me!), I need help on how to tell Subsonic which cover to use from the embedded ones.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

After further research I discovered that Subsonic isn't even using the embedded cover. It randomly picks one of the provided files in the folder even if they're correctly namend front an back it tends to use the back cover.
Is there any way to force it to use the embedded cover?

It will use the embedded ID3 cover if there is no file present. HOWEVER, once it has cached a file for a folder, it won't get rid of it.

So what you'll need to do is rename the folder the file is in, then re-scan, and it will treat it as a new 'album' and look for artwork as if nothing was there, in which case it will fall back on the embedded image.

There is a priority order for files for which one it will use. Something like "Cover.jpg" will have a higher priority over the others. Front and Back aren't in the list by default, but you can add them:

In Settings => General,
Cover art files
defaults to
cover.jpg cover.png cover.gif folder.jpg jpg jpeg gif png

so here, just put "front.jpg" in front of the others and it will use that for all future albums added.
