Looks like people gave up on the forums.
Haven't seen that in years

Perhaps it helps if you post in the right forums.
If you need help you might consider posting your problem in the Help-forum.
If you want to make a request than there's oddly enough the Feature Requests.
Note that is says "Request" and not "Demand".
And so you see that every Subsonicforum has a pretty clear descriptive name.
If you have any problems you might even be as bold and search the Faq- and / or Tutorial forums.
There are plenty users who are willing to help you, be it that they do it in their own time.
And sometimes it can take some time before someone has found a solution to his or her and therefor also your problem.

How are your subtitles stored?

Subsonic should pick them up if the subtitle file is in the same directory as the video, and with the same "basename", e.g.,

some_dir/some_movie.mp4
some_dir/some_movie.srt

Hello,
Where in the flow player do I have the option to either enable or disable the subtitles?
I'll have to convert the subtitle file to .srt as I believe they are in another format.

It shows up a "CC" button in the video player.

Subsonic supports .srt and .vtt.
