new musepack (v8)

Hi there;
There's a new musepack / mpc version available http://www.musepack.net. Some good and bad news about it.
Good - it's streamable and foobar supports it.
Bad - files can't be parsed even though ape tags are used in theory. These warning appear:

WARN EntaggedParser Failed to parse APIC frame for X
WARN EntaggedParser Error when parsing tags in X
MP+ Header not found

Is there anything that could be done about it? I'm ready to send some samples and error stacks.

And just to add a couple of things here. The new decoding "Step 1", using the new mpcdec.exe should be:
