stream internet radio to SONOS via subsonic

Hi.
I want to use subsonic as a kind of a proxy to stream internet radio to my SONOS client in the network.
Subsonic is running in a DMZ and the only connection from SONOS client to internet radio should be via subsonic.
But internet radio is not distributed via subsonic. The only thing subsonic is doing is creating a link to the internet radio station.
I don't want to connect any client from the private network directly to the internet.
This may reduce traffic too.

Does anyone know a solution for this?
