Subsonic Forum

In my installation, thumbnails of cover art aren't being created for JPGs larger than 3MB (picture 1 below). The cover art is generated and displays after clicking on an album (picture 2), but the thumbnail remains blank when returning to an Artist's folder. Is this a limitation of Subsonic or can I force the thumbnails to be created somehow?

Album "1968 Symphony No. 6 & 7, Karajan (German Later Pressing DGG 24-192) Rockmaninov 2017" has cover art of 3.8MB and its thumbnail is blank.


Its cover displays correctly after selecting the album, but the thumbnail remains blank.

I also notied that if the coverart-picture is too large in filesize or in image-dimensions Subsonic can't handle it correctly.
So I extract the coverart using the Windows freeware program Mp3-tag and resize it to 800 x 800 pixels.
