Hi Subsonic Lover ...
Since I have a lot of Music and using primary iTunes Match, there are a lots of Tags I have to review ....
So is there a way to force a re-scan, because it seems that changes only in the Tags are not recognized by Subsonic.
Deleting the db and new scan is very time consuming.
TIA

No, that will not work
If i'm only change one of the MP3 Tag it will not update. After scanning I have seen that the was a couple of MP3 where the Album names was in "Quotes"
I have removed and re scanned, that will not update
BTW it is running @W10P

The scanner will not notice a file changed if the folder doesn't, and the folder doesn't change unless the number of files in it, or the names of those files, changes. If you just change a file itself, the folder object (on the file system itself) doesn't notice anything different.
To get the folder to be different so the scanner looks at it, you can either rename the folder, scan, rename it back, scan again (then "clean up database"), OR you can create a text file in there that the scanner will ignore, but will signal that the folder needs to be looked at. Both are tedious, of course. The text file hack is safer if you have playlists.

It seems, if you change the Date of the Folder and Files to the actual date, it will be re-scanned AND I found that play:Sub @ iOS has probably massive sync problems.
A couple of Folders who are not shown in the iOS App are finally shown in the Browser.
