Playlist is empty error

I have set-up Subsonic to work as a web based player. Currently I am only using it on the same computer as the music for testing purposes.

I have changed the playlists folder (in the web based players settings) to point to the folder where my .m3u playlists are saved. These are playlists I created in amarok and saved as .m3u. I would like to import these playlists into Subsonic.

I click on "more actions" (bottom right), then on "Load" (which is under the playlist heading). Here I see the list of all my playlists. I then click on "Load" next to a playlist and it reverts back to the "Now playing" song list and at the bottom I see the error: "Playlist is empty".

What am I doing wrong?

Playlist empty

If you are using playlists created by MS Windows they can't be read by Unix/Linux systems as the \ is a / in the path name and the full path will be different. Also check the permissions on the playlist location.
Hope this helps.

I am having the same problem. Did you ever get it figured out. I put the m3u files in the c:\playlists folder and it shows up when I load the playlists. When I select any one of my playlists, it comes up empty. Any answers?

I am also having the same problem, have the playlist folder set to
D:\My Documents\My Music

where my playlist are stored in .m3u, and work on mediamonkey on local computer

when I try to access them via subsonic more actions ->Load->Load it displays a empty playlist.

Any help is appreciated

EDIT: Just found the solution elsewhere http://forum.subsonic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1808 seems to be a problem with absolute path
