This forum is being SPAMMED... help?

Hey, I receive this forum via RSS-feed but lately it's been very painful - so much SPAM every day! Is there no way to prevent this from happening? I don't get it from other forums, just this one. One could perhaps ban the usage of the terms CONVERT and DVD and IPHONE in the same posting... just a thought.

I know what you mean, I think Sindre needs to appoint a sub-admin or two who can delete these posts/users propmtly.

I find the relatively recent flood of spam annoying as well.

Is there a way we can flag the posts as spam so the moderator can get to it more easily?

An upgrade to phpBB3 would make this possible. I guess an upgrade is recommended anyway and it's quite easy with the included migration tool.

When deleting spam, can you please note down the authors, and post it here every once in a while. I will then blacklist those names.

Have you set the forum so ppl have to use there email address to join?
iv been deleting loads and loads of spam but i cant keep up with it all.
